Your living room can be an invitation for people to stay and enjoy time in your home. If you love hospitality, why not treat every guest with a cozy blanket? Blankets or quilts can add a nice burst of color. Keep some small blankets rolled up in a basket.

Be sure guests have a place to put their feet and their drinks.

Does your room promote conversation or are you leaning forward to speak to one another at yelling distance?

Express yourself with personal touches, but be careful to keep collections in check. You don’t want your room to look like a store. When displaying collectables, group like items together, rather than scattering small pieces all around a room.

Family photos look very nice grouped together with matching frames.

Fabric (canvas) storage boxes make great organizers for CDs and DVDs. You can keep them out in the open and stack them up.

Make your house your own, something that reflects your personality. Enjoy living in your home!
